1. What do you understand after reading Paragraph 4 and which particular
Pattern of authority is mentioned there? (4+1)
Answer:-
In paragraph 4, mentioned about the male dominant society. In this paragraph, explained that all the responsibilities of the family inside and outside of the home, the father and elder one holds all the responsibilities. Father will be responsible to decide their children future.
Patriarchy pattern of authority is mentioned in this paragraph.
2. The two marriage patterns are depicted in the paragraph 6 & 7. Point out
those with particular terms. What are the reasons behind two different

Answer:-
Endogamy and Exogamy, these two marriage patterns are depicted in the paragraph 6 & 7.
Paragraph 6 tells about the rules and regulations of the Iraqi families. Rules and regulations are that the lineage system is held in Iraqi families. Preferred marriage is only between first cousins and only in family.
But the approaches which are explained in paragraph 7 are different from paragraph 6. Paragraph 7 describes the rights and choices of life partner among young people.
3. After reading this case study writes a brief paragraph on similarities of
Pakistani and Iraqi family structure. (5)
Answer:-
Pakistani family structure is similar to the Iraqi family structure. In Pakistani family structure the elder one also has responsibilities of his family same like Iraqi family. Some Pakistani families also preferred first cousins like Iraqi family.
Pakistani families also suggest women for veiling same like Iraqi family. Pakistani family also has same pattern of authority like Iraqi family.
